Carl wasn’t a chocolatier by trade, but by love. Every holiday season, he would spend hours in the kitchen, crafting chocolates by hand for his family. Simple, meticulous, and full of heart—those early days of tempering, filling, and sharing became the foundation of what River Layne is today.
